These easy prosecco bellini’s made with VOVETI prosecco are perfect for chic and stylish, yet affordable entertaining!
I know for most of y’all, football season is over, but because I’m a Clemson Tiger, we’ve still got one more game to go – and maybe two! One New Years Eve, we’re playing Ohio State in the playoffs and
if when we win, we’ll be playing in the championship game in Florida. It very well could be a repeat of last year when we almost beat Alabama for our first national championship since the 80s.
The hubs and I are both huge Clemson fans. Both of us only applied to Clemson (thank goodness we got in!). It’s where we met and made some of the best friends and memories in our life. Since graduation, we’ve gone back to Clemson for almost every home game and have done our fair share of traveling for away games too. It’s been especially exciting the past few years since our team has gotten really good.
Of course, the game is why we go to Clemson almost every weekend in the fall, but tailgating is a big part of the fun too! Our tailgating group has dwindled through the years as friends moved away and had kids, but there’s sill a core group of us that makes it out, especially for rivalry weekend when we play the Gamecocks.
Since we’re officially adults now, I decided that this year for rivalry weekend, instead of kicking off the day with cheap champagne mimosas, we should upgrade to these prosecco bellini’s made with VOVETI prosecco. VOVETI is a chic, modern and luxurious prosecco, but with an affordable price tag. That makes it perfect for entertaining, when you want to treat your guests to something special, but have a budget to stick to. No one wants to serve an overly sweet cheap bottle of champagne that leaves your guests with a nasty hangover! VOVETI on the other hand is a high quality craft prosecco with only 15,000 cases produced annually. It’s nice and dry and extra bubbly.
These easy bellini’s are a fun way to serve VOVETI because you can easily match the drink to your decor. By using premade smoothies instead of the traditional peach puree, you can find flavors that match your teams colors, or the colors you’re using to decorate your event. I used a mango smoothie for orange and a berry smoothie for purple. To make it a little more upscale than serving the smoothies in their plastic container, I poured them into a glass bottles to create a little bellini bar for our friends to make their own drink.
Since the playoffs are on New Years Even and I know aaaaallll of my readers will be cheering for my team (😉) these VOVETI bellini’s would be the perfect way to ring in a New Year and (hopefully!) a Clemson victory!
- VOVETI prosecco
- Assortment of premade smoothies
- Pour a splash of smoothie in the bottom of a champagne glass. Carefully fill the rest of the glass with prosecco. Enjoy!
